A Nobody that Became A Somebody — Changed Lives Series #2
References: Luke 8:40-48
According to the perception of most people, hope is in short supply. But when Jesus is on the scene, hope is abundant and real. This is a message about a woman who reached out in faith to Jesus for physical healing, and how she received wholeness in every part of her life. Her disease had socially positioned her as a nobody. She could not enjoy a loving touch from her husband. Or if she was single, no one would be wanting to marry her. She could not participate in the religious life of her day. She couldn't even shop without people trying to avoid her. But one day while all eyes were riveted on Jesus, she got into the crowd and reached out with a touch of faith to Jesus. And Jesus reached back with a touch of love and healing.
