About the "The Essentials of Expository Preaching and Teaching Institute":
The focus of this foundational Biblical Preaching Institute is the faithful, clear exposition of God's word delivered in the power of the Holy Spirit.
We invite pastors, preachers, lay leaders, and Bible teachers to be a part of this event, which provides instruction and interaction concerning this critical aspect of Biblical ministry.
Those seeking to develop their expository preaching and teaching ministries will receive practical and personal training that will help in the preparation and delivery of messages and/or lessons that have the priority of “rightly dividing the word of truth.”
Details and processes related to sermon preparation and delivery will be addressed as well as the necessary personal and spiritual dynamics that are a part of a faithful preaching/teaching ministry.
The faculty includes Dr. David Olford, Dr. Ted Rendall, Classic Videos by the Late Dr. Stephen Olford, and Special Guest Speaker Dr. David Allen. Dr. Allen is the Distinguished Professor of Practical Theology and Dean of the Adrian Rogers Center for Biblical Preaching at Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary in Cordova, Shelby County, Tennessee. He is also the Founder and President of PreachingCoach.com.
The Institute registration fee is $145.00, which includes all sessions, the Institute notebook, the welcome dinner and three "lite" breakfasts and lunches.
For those who attend all sessions, a certificate will be granted upon completion of the Institute.
The schedule for the four days will be:
